But regardless, he still felt unsure, and so had approached her quietly, “it’s been a while, Kairi,” he finally said lowly after a moment in greeting.
The redhead jumped a little at Riku’s voice, spinning around on her heel, a grin breaking out on her face at the sight of her best friend. “Heya Riku! It has been, huh?” Her grin dimmed to just a warm smile as she folded her hands behind her back, her head tilting slightly. “How’ve you been? Not lazing around too much, I hope.”
