A small smile fell upon Riku’s face as he spotted the red haired girl, taking long strides as he went over to her. “Hey, Kairi? We’ve you been, I was starting to get worried.” Though there was a slight teasing undertone to his voice, the silverette had truly been worried by the disappearance of his friends, not that he’d ever let onto the degree of worry he’d felt.
Kairi turned to the all too familiar voice and smiled back, folding her hands behind her back and rocking a little on her feet. “Oh, just here and there.. I’m sorry for worrying you.” She kept her tone light like he did, though she did genuinely mean it. She knew both Riku and Sora had been worried, and felt bad for worrying them in the first place - something she couldn’t help. “Anyway, how’ve you been? Aside from the worry, of course.”
