Hearing what the red haired girl said, Riku’s smile grew faint and somewhat sad, not that he’d ever mention it to his friends, but he understood the inner turmoil that could be created from not remembering things so he understood how it may have made Kairi feel. “Well I’m always here if you need any help trying to figure things out.”
She noticed his smile turn sad and smiled wider, brightening up again in hopes to cheer him up again. “Thank you, Riku. I’ll keep that in mind.” She meant it; she appreciated his offer, and would take him up on it should she need to.
His own smile soon brightening some as his friend’s did, Riku gave a small nod in response. “No problem.” Sure he’d done plenty to hurt those he cared about in the past, but maybe (and he hoped it would be) this could be a way that he could try to make it up to Kairi.
Glad he was smiling again, she relaxed and leaned back a little, though tilted her head a little. “Were you doing anything before I arrived?”
